On March 11, 2024, the "14th China International ESS Conference and expo (CIES 2024)" was grandly held at the Hangzhou International Expo Center. Yotai showcased its smart energy solutions such as "ESS + X," home green electricity, and green transportation, and unveiled its latest product, the Dawn 2.0 liquid-cooling ESS system.
Organized by the China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association, CIES is one of the most influential events in the global ESS industry and is regarded as a barometer for observing the development of the ESS sector. The conference brought together more than 230 industry leaders, academicians, experts, and outstanding enterprise representatives for discussions, with over 300 upstream and downstream companies in the industry chain, including BYD, CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, and Inner Mongolia Power, participating in the expo.
During the product launch at the ESS conference, Liu Yu, Senior Product Manager of Yotai, introduced the new product: the Aurora 2.0 liquid-cooling ESS that adopts the latest 314Ah high-capacity battery cells, which not only reduces the number of cells but also decreases the number of battery pack components, significantly lowering the overall system cost and improving project returns.
The ESS boasts several advantages: it saves 35% in footprint, reduces system costs by 15%, increases the system's intelligence coefficient by 5%, enhances system reliability by 11%, boosts system economic benefits by 25%, and extends system lifespan by 15%. Currently, most ESS on the market use 280Ah capacity battery cells, but Yotai has taken the lead in upgrading to 300+Ah cells, breaking through the industry's current situation and leading the ESS sector into a new phase of cell capacity expansion.
On March 5th, the new type of ESS was mentioned for the first time in the government's work report. With a focus on innovation, Yotai has pioneered the launch of 314Ah large battery ESS products, demonstrating its commitment to long-term adherence to the national "dual carbon" strategy and actively responding to national policies on new energy development.
At this expo, Yotai also showcased multiple comprehensive energy solutions and product series such as "ESS + X," residential green energy, and green transportation, attracting a large number of attendees. Especially popular was the star product Smart 100 All-in-one Smart Distributed ESS, which features an All-in-one design for flexible deployment and convenient expansion, with advantages in safety, simplicity, and intelligence. It is suitable for various scenarios such as off-grid mining areas, island off-grid areas, nomadic farms, and villages with insufficient or no electricity. The booth attracted continuous inquiries, demonstrating high popularity. Yotai received considerable attention from the industry and became a focal point of the expo.
During the event, Yotai was invited to attend the 2024 "Most Influential Awards" ceremony in the Chinese ESS industry, where it stood out among many outstanding brands due to its strong technical capabilities and excellent comprehensive solutions and was awarded the "Best Commercial and Industrial ESS Solution in 2024" and the "Most Influential Enterprise in the Chinese ESS Industry in 2024." Vice President Jiang Weiliang also received the "2024 Chinese ESS Industry Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award."
