On September 2, 2024, the 3rd EESA Exhibition kicked off at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Yotai showcased its star product, the 314Ah large-capacity cell liquid-cooling ESS (Aurora 5015), and participated in the "Source-Side ESS Solutions Forum." Yotai also won the "2024 Best Energy Storage Demonstration Project Award."
The EESA Energy Storage Exhibition is a vertical professional exhibition in China's energy storage industry. This year's event spanned 180,000 square meters, attracted 350,000 visitors, and featured 1,500 exhibitors. The exhibition covered the entire energy storage industry chain, from raw materials and equipment to downstream application solutions.
On the first day of the exhibition, Jiang Weiliang, Vice President and General Manager of the Energy Storage Business Unit of Yotai, attended the "Source-Side ESS System Solutions Forum" and delivered a keynote speech titled "Yotai Smart ESS Solutions." In his speech, Jiang analyzed the opportunities and challenges in the energy storage industry. He believes that against the backdrop of "power restrictions and production limits" and the continuous expansion of peak-to-valley price differences, the industrial and commercial energy storage in China will continue to grow rapidly in the coming years.
Jiang also introduced products and solutions such as Aurora 5015, Aurora 5017, and Smart 261L. To date, Yotai has delivered several exemplary projects, including the Shule County 2 million kW PV ESS all-in-one project, the Chicheng 150MW PV composite project, and the Liangzhou 40MW/80MWh PV ESS project.
During the event, Yotai stood out among many outstanding brands with its strong technical strength and excellent solutions, winning the EESA Starlight Award - the 2024 Best Energy Storage Demonstration Project Award. The EESA Starlight Award is one of the most authoritative and influential honors in the energy storage industry. This award not only highly recognizes Yotai's efforts over the past year but also expresses expectations for its future development. After the award ceremony, the organizer of the event, the Energy Storage Leader Alliance, conducted an exclusive interview with Jiang Weiliang. He stated that Yotai focuses on ESS, EV charging and battery swapping, smart power, and energy and carbon management, aiming to become a global leader in new energy products and solutions. As the global energy storage installation scale continues to grow rapidly and the domestic energy storage industry is booming, Yotai will continue to adhere to an international strategy, actively embrace overseas markets such as North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia, and deeply participate in the low-carbon upgrades of countries along the "Belt and Road" in line with the national "going global" strategy.
At this exhibition, Yotai highlighted its star product - the Aurora 2.0 (Aurora 5015) liquid-cooling energy storage system. Aurora 2.0 is the latest generation of large-capacity cell energy storage systems launched by Yotai in 2024. The product breaks through industry norms by being the first to adopt 314Ah cells, increasing the 20-foot container's energy capacity to 5.015MWh and reducing system costs by 15%. With its advanced performance brought by large-capacity cells and ultimate design, the product has been well-received by the market since its launch. In addition, Yotai also showcased several smart energy solutions and related products, such as "ESS + X," home green electricity, and green travel.
Yotai's booth became a highlight of the exhibition and received a special EESA delegation. The special delegation is a communication platform specially set up by EESA to implement the "living room" concept, helping enterprises to connect with potential partners and explore cooperation opportunities. With its excellent products and solutions, Yotai received high praise from the special delegation.
