On December 27th, a delegation led by Shenzhen Nanshan Power Co., Ltd. ("Nanshan Power"), a well-established energy company under the Shenzhen State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, visited Yotai. The two parties held a signing ceremony for the "Megacharge Longgang Innovation Industrial Park Storage Project Cooperation" and other initiatives. This collaboration signifies their integration of strengths to deepen cooperation in new energy storage and storage projects in exemplary industrial parks, collectively advancing the development of new energy storage and zero-carbon park projects. This collaboration aims to contribute to Shenzhen's ambition to become a world-class hub for the new energy storage industry.
Those present at the signing ceremony included Mr. Kong Guoliang, Chairman of Nanshan Power; Mr. Li Chao, Deputy General Manager of Nanshan Power; Ms. Tao Lin, Deputy General Manager of Nanshan Power and Chairman of Shenzhen Nanshan Power Environmental Protection Co., Ltd.; Mr. Zhang Zongyi, Head of Shenzhen Nanshan Power Environmental Protection Co., Ltd.; Mr. Sheng Jianming, Chairman of Yotai; Mr. Wang Dexiang, Director and CFO of Yotai; Mr. Jiang Weiliang, Vice President and General Manager of the Energy Storage Business Unit of Yotai; Mr. Xiao Yang, Vice President of Yotai; and Mr. Chen Guozhang, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Energy Storage Business Unit of Yotai.
The Megacharge Innovation Industrial Park is located in Longgang District, Shenzhen, with a total construction area of 700,000 square meters. The park serves as an integrated base for "research, production, sales, and service" for products such as internet television and LED components. As a typical high-energy-consuming park with high peak electricity consumption, it incurs substantial monthly electricity expenses and has strong demands for the economy, reliability, and stability of electricity.
In response to these challenges, Nanshan Power and Yotai joined forces to tailor a commercial and industrial energy storage solution. The first phase includes the deployment of Yotai's 1.5MW/3.29MWh energy storage system, 1.25MW/2.55MWh energy storage system, and 10 units of 215kWh intelligent distributed energy storage systems, with a total project capacity exceeding 7.99MWh. This project marks the first commercial and industrial energy storage project in Shenzhen connected to a 10kV grid, holding pioneering and demonstrative significance, contributing actively to the establishment of Shenzhen as a world-class hub for the new energy storage industry.
During the signing ceremony, both parties expressed their commitment to leveraging this collaboration to strengthen cooperation further and jointly promote the high-quality development of the new energy storage industry. This partnership not only contributes to the individual development goals of Nanshan Power and Yotai but also accelerates the overall progress of building Shenzhen's energy storage hub. In the future, both parties will continue to deepen their collaboration, collectively driving Shenzhen towards becoming a world-class hub for the new energy storage industry.
